The smoky black eyed peas and greens were phenomenal! We have black eyed peas and cabbage on New Years Day every year and this was the best recipe yet! Although ours made with lots of garlic and tomatoes is a close second! Thanks for a great recipe!

On the kitchari recipe it says pressure cook on high for 5 minutes but basmati rice takes 12 according to instapot and personal experience. Is that 5 a mistake?

Hi Sabrina, 5 minutes is correct for that recipe. Perhaps you’re using par-boiled brown basmati if it’s taking longer? Let us know if you try it!
