What the what? It’s nearly FALL you guys. FALL!
Where did summer go? How did it end so swiftly? I would say I’m sad, but fall is literally my favorite season of all. I can hardly contain my excitement.

What We Did //
- In August we wrapped up a trip to D.C. to visit friends where we explored some new-to-us eats like &Pizza, Zaytinya, and Compass Coffee! Locals, check those out if you haven’t already. So good!
- We also visited friends and family in Kansas and Chicago. Quality time snuggling babies, chasing nieces and nephews, and catching up with old friends was good for the soul (and belly).
- Other than traveling, we were hard at work on our upcoming print cookbook! We’ve reached the final editing phase and will be receiving our first official proofs soon! That means you’ll have details on a pre-sale (fingers crossed) before long. Eek! Stay tuned here and on Instagram!
What We’re Craving //
In September we’re craving an even split of savory and sweet. I’ll be making the most of end-of-summer produce and leaning into fall goodies (think foods that rhyme with “schmumpkin”). Expect entrées, a few breakfast/snack items, and several easy desserts!
