Hi
Any recommendations for stainless steel or other safe non coated metal baking sheets?
I already use a stonewear one but would like a bigger metal one with an edge
Thanks
Jenny
Dana @ Minimalist Baker says
Ah! Good question. As for non-coated metal, we aren’t sure. These are our go-tos.

I got Lincoln wear ever half sheet pans from a restaurant supply store many years ago. I love them. They survive the broiler and they are not nonstick. We use parchment paper or foil on either to contain mess or for non stick properties.

Great list! I actually want to put a cookie scoop on my list but I’m not sure what size. Do you use the medium or large? The link just goes to the Amazon page with all the sizes.
Thanks so much!
Support @ Minimalist Baker says
We like the medium scoop!

Is the cookie dough scoop really $41! That has to be a misprint but it came up three times for me at this price and the messsge in red was “only 16 left!”
I appreciate your recommendation on a food processor as I am in dire need of a new one. And it’s reasonably priced — only $20+ more than the cookie dough scoop and much more versatile.
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes!

That’s so odd that it is priced so high right now! Could be a supply issue? We definitely did not pay that much!
Ally Bally Boo says
Linda, there is a new version of the cookie scoop which is $15. The one for $50 is an older version, which is apparently a collectible because I don’t know who would pay $50 for that for everyday use! You’ll see the newer version (same thing, really) in a little note below the one for $50. Hope this helps! :)

Excellent! Thanks so much for the heads up on this.
Monica says
Check again- the price I see is $14.99

Thanks, guys! Does the frother work on Almond Milk, too?
Support @ Minimalist Baker says
Yes! It will be more frothy if using store-bought because the gums help it froth, but we find it works with homemade too as long as it isn’t too diluted. Hope that helps!

Good list, I recently added a stand mixer to my kitchen mostly for kneading chickwheat and breads. I would love to see your recommendations knives. What do you use? Currently I’m using a Faberware knife for pretty much everything and I just put it into the self sharpening sleeve after use but I would be interested in what you suggest as must have knives.
