The Heart of Blogging written on a red background

Bloggers! Good news. We have a special announcement.

Today we are (re)releasing Blogger Resources on Minimalist Baker with tons of new FREE resources to help you get to the heart of blogging and ultimately make your blog work.

Why

Blogging can be confusing. Trust us, we’ve been there.

The technical details are overwhelming, it’s difficult to find your voice, and monetization can be a serious challenge. This all leads to one giant frustration:

How do I actually make my blog work?

On New Year’s Day we asked you to share your thoughts on this very topic. Here’s what you had to say:

  • How in the world do I make my blog work?
  • How do you actually make money blogging?
  • Can you do this full-time? How did you do it?

How

As of today, the goal of Blogger Resources is to help you get to the heart of blogging and start cutting through all of the noise that’s getting in the way of your success. We’ll discuss topics like the importance of finding your voice, how to hone your craft, and how to monetize.

We could focus on the technical details of running a blog all day, but that won’t ultimately help your blog flourish.

We may not know everything, but we do know how to make a blog work (and it’s incredibly fun and fulfilling). That’s something we’re eager to share with you.

What To Expect

Blogger Resources not only supplies a growing list of FREE resources for new and veteran bloggers, but also a space where conversations about relevant blog-related topics can take place.

We want to help dispel the myths that surround blogging and provide real tools for making your blog work.

For this reason, Blogger Resources is split into three categories to help you better navigate the ins and outs of starting and growing a blog:

  1. Basics – Useful topics on the technical side of running a website well.
  2. Growing Your Website – Tools for making your website grow faster and smarter.
  3. Monetizing – Resources to help you start making money from your website.

I wanted to read the blogger Resources. It leads to a portion that is no longer supported. Is there any way that I can access the information?
    Thank you.

I love you guys. For reals. Whenever I want to bake anything, I start here. Have I mentioned you guys are awesome? I’m inspired to use these resources and one day actually use my DSLR instead of my iPhone for food photos. Of course, this means that I will actually have to be willing to wait to eat the subject so I can photograph it.

    Oh yeah, and you’re awesome.

      And now I’m blushing…

It’s great that you’re starting where you are – seriously! We used a simple point-and-shoot camera (before iPhone cameras were so great) to get started. Great to see you already hustling!

I just started my blog a few months back and I’m in a nice groove with my posts. I remember coming across your blog when I first started and learned so much and I’m sure there’s more things to learn! thank you.

I love this! I’ve only had my current blog for a few months but I’m really struggling with what exactly I want out of it and how I want to run it. Hopefully these resources will nudge me in the right direction and help me really get the most out or my blog.

Such a great idea, I’ve just subscribed for updates. I’ve been running my blog for over two years (although only really ‘properly’ in the last six months and I’m now at the stage of really wanting to push my readership upwards!
